WHAT'S YOUR STORY?

I'm a freelance Creative Director based in New York City. I’ve worked on projects ranging from TV, digital, social, branding, events, earned media and more, so I'm comfortable jumping into pretty much any project and delivering on the brief. My clients have included big brands such as Dove, Canon, Jockey, American Red Cross, IBM, Gilt, Target as well as smaller startups including Daily Harvest, Goodmylk Co. and Rent The Runway, so I know how to scale ideas appropriately and get scrappy when necessary. I’m a writer at heart, instinctively strategic and have overseen art direction on everything from TV spots and photo shoots to branding and packaging design. I've led projects from ideation through production, but I can also join in anywhere in the process and be a supportive team player. When I'm not working, I spend time in my art studio, at our cabin in upstate NY with my family, or just kicking around and enjoying my favorite city that I'm lucky enough to call home.

HOW DO WE WORK TOGETHER?

I primarily work with agencies, but I also work directly with brands. I can jump in with existing teams, bring partner(s), or fly solo, depending on the project's needs. I'm based in New York, but I can also travel occasionally or work remotely.

WHAT DO "THEY" SAY?

I have had the great pleasure of working with Kim over the past year on so many of our brands at Edelman. With her partnership, she has successfully crafted great work and led teams on projects that often have drastically different goals and brand personas. Kim has jumped onto tasks where the ask can be as varied as a comedically driven script or a more earned centric brief - and she has delivered all with a point of view that stands apart from others. While her ease in moving fluidly from different brands is always evident, her conviction to deliver great work remains the same. She is more than trusted to lead a client presentation as she is to jump into a script with other creatives and give it the necessary polish. I couldn’t recommend Kim more and look forward to working with her again as soon as possible.
— Matt Zavala, Group Creative Director, Edelman
I started working with Kim remotely May 2020 — the project was to create a new brand from scratch. From the outset Kim was a total pro — she delivered excellent creative work, was highly organized and very flexible. Then entire team was working remote but that didn’t hinder anything, Kim played a pivotal role in keeping the project moving, generating loads of ideas and really going beyond expectations in every area.
— Chris May, Executive Creative Director @ Elephant
I’ve worked with Kim as a freelancer and she’s the best kind of freelancer. The kind that puts work in meetings, and that work sells. And then you want to hire her full time. Great writer, great presenter, can and will run projects. Always invested in the work. Lovely to work with. Hire her immediately and often.
— Mike Pierantozzi, Executive Creative Director @ Saatchi & Saatchi
Kim rocks. Strategically smart, super productive, can flex her style to fit the context, and a pleasure to work with.
— Neil Parker, Chief Strategy Officer @ co:collective
Kim was instrumental in helping us develop and implement a new brand voice. She applied it across various touch points, laying the groundwork for our team to emulate. She is extremely talented and just “gets it”. Kim also works very efficiently, which is always appreciated!
— Rachel Drori, Founder @ Daily Harvest
Kim is great. She can join a project on a moment’s notice and deliver smart creative ideas. She is as comfortable running an account as she is partnering with an art director as a team. She has a great understanding of all digital platforms and gets the 360 nature of content.
— Roald Van Wyk, Group Creative Director @ Razorfish
Kim is as good as it gets. Incredibly talented as both a thinker and a writer. A very hard worker. But her best attribute is how great she is as a person. Whoever you are, whatever position you are considering Kim for, hire her immediately. You will be thrilled with the result.
— Brian McDermott, Chief Creative Officer @ Dentsu
